Designation / Title: Manager R&D and Testing (m/f)
Tasks and Responsibilities
Serves a primary contact between Germany and India during product development and testing to ensure that applications and modifications meet specifications and company standards.
Manages company development and testing group in India on automotive diagnostics products like scanner tools, vehicle communication protocols, light beam calibration tool, radar and sensor calibration tools etc. to ensure that products meet specifications.
Reviews prepared reports and communicates group's progress and problems to upper management; participates in problem-solving discussions to ensure that management handles problems effectively and in a timely fashion.
Plans, directs and controls the development and testing of products assigned.
Assigns and monitors work of developers, architects and testers staff on larger and more complex projects, providing technical support and direction to ensure that application development is completed in a time manner and meets customer specifications and requirements.
Reviews feasibility studies, time and cost estimates; plans, designs and oversees the establishment and implementation of new and revised applications and programs to ensure that projects adhere to budgetary and company guidelines.
Develop, implement, review and optimize the development and testing processes to increase quality, cost effectiveness and product efficiency.
Selects and hires employees. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Motivates and rewards employees including providing salary increases, bonuses and promotions within allocated budgets and company guidelines.
Prepares, recommends and oversees development of operating and personnel budgets. Monitors spending for adherence to budget plans, develops and recommends variances. Performs and/or oversees budget analysis.
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelors degree in information technology, electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification in automotive field, Masters degree preferred.
Solid professional experience in hardware, construction and software development, testing and test automation is mandatory.

Very good knowledge of German and English.
Education B.Tech / B. Tech. in mech.
Exp: 15-25 yrs
Salary CTC: 15-17 lpa
